How to install theme in wordpress

There is two type of themes support in wordpress I.e Wordpress certified theme in there own theme store or third party theme you can buy it online or make it from developer.

1. Install themes from wordpress theme store.

To install theme in wordpress. Firstly Login to your wordpress dashboard by simply typing URL in browser's search bar

Yourwebsite.com/wp-admin

Then in dashboard go to Appearance section in that select Theme and select Add New option in side bar.

Then after you see bunch of wordpress theme. You can preview and install theme by just hovering on it and you see those two options for Preview and Install.

If you already know the name of theme then you can directly search for theme in search box or you can apply Filter according to your need to select one theme.

After install massage select Activate option

Finally after selection, just hover on theme and press install button and after waiting for few seconds you see Activated options right there on same place. Press Activate button and theme was activated for you.

2. Install third party theme in wordpress

Download the themes zip file on your computer.

Then Login to your wordpress dashboard and goto Appearance section and select Theme option and after that select Add New option.

There after on left side main screen you can see wordpress theme on top of that you can see Upload theme option. Select that option and upload a theme.

Then simply click on Install option and after waiting for few seconds click on Activate options and now your theme is finally theme is activated.

You can see it by simply typing you sites URL browsers Search box.
